In the month of February, Dhammakaya Temple has a special day on 3rd to commemorate the three great meditation masters of the Dhammakaya Tradition: Venerable Sodh Candasaro passed away on 3rd February 1959, Khun Yay Thongsuk Sam-daeng-pan passed away on 3rd February 1960, Khun Yay Chandra Khon-nok-yoong had her cremation on 3rd February 2002. These three coincidences took place on the 3rd in February of different year. Dhammakaya devotees feel that it is a good reason to commemorate the day as the Great Master Day.
